A group of us met and started to sort.
Wayne took maps, a shoe box of photos and a photo album of the Creek. He plans to scan them.
Travis took Minutes dating back to 1966, A3 file on the Creek, submissions and the 1972 LP gas pipeline protests.

Council reps (Paula and Monica) attended pre meeting and were interested in the older minutes which Mary Anne miraculously found.
Judy will reconnect with Council Heritage group.
Kingston Council Update (Foreshore & Bushland)
Team Leader Bushland & Foreshore Paul Sandells has offered to speak to us at this Wednesday’s meeting. Also he may bring along one of the three Conservation Officers.
Tarella Rd/ Dents Paddock has been renamed to Woolepe Bushland Reserve – provided by the Bunurong Land Council meaning Tea-tree.
Parkdale and the Mordialloc Railway precincts
LXRA have moved into offices at the old Commonwealth Bank of Australia building in Main St Mordialloc. They are at presently doing a survey of utilities.
LXRA are holding information sessions. There will be a Mordialloc Stakeholders Liasson Group set up, expressions of interest are due July 7th
Council Meeting Agenda/ Outcomes
Voted to keep the Australia Day Citizen Awards.
Historical Society have applied for a lift at their headquarters in Mentone.
List of tree removals to be investigated (ie Casuarina south of Mordialloc Lifesaving Club, Edith St).
Need to ring Council for explanation.

Last piece of rural land along Boundary Rd will disappear once the Surf n Play Aquatic Centre is built.
Environment and Open Spaces Strategic Advisory Committee
Biodiversity Strategy. Biosis has been comparing the old BS with the new one between Aspendale and Carrum and is writing a submission
Port Phillip Conservation Council
Jenny Warfe has been in contact, will start to forward PPCC Minutes to our members.
Kingston Aquatic & Leisure Centre
People are able to vote for a name for this facility by June 30th.
Mordialloc Creek Community (Boating& Fishing)
Partial dredging of Mordialloc Creek is almost complete.
Tim Richardson attended, to provide an update on the Mordialloc / Aspendale Level Crossing Removals.
Minor works around the former Blue’s Boat area.
Parks Victoria are doing regular maintenance checks on the sheet pile walls.
The replacement bollards for Mordialloc Bridge are being worked on.
Overgrown vegetation along boardwalk, due to lack of maintenance.

Friends of Mordialloc Catchment
May revegetation MC4 opposite Kingston Aquatic & Leisure Centre site. Eco Projects staff joined in, and enjoyed the session. Met new Conservation Officer, who was fantastic.
Missed Epsom grassland bee in June.
Bradshaw Bushland Reserve
The works next to Bradshaw – referred to Julian Birthisel (Kingston Council). Botanist David Bainbridge is out of action. Genevieve and Pam to inspect early June.
Sadly, the Cranberry Heath has disappeared
The Grange
400 new plannings in GR7 area, the whole Grange is looking very dry, with less bird around. Working on a series of ponds to filter out the harmful nutrients that may damage indigenous plants.
Some of the Pine trees will be removed, due to becoming dangerous, and will be replaced by indigenous species.
